Privacy Policy

Summary

SpacesWallet (the "App") is published by Lunde Cognitive Effects, Inc. ("LCFX," "we," "us," or "our"). The App is a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet: it stores your seed phrase and private keys locally on your device and does not transmit them to us.

What we do not collect

To be clear about the limits of self-custody, we never collect or receive:

• Your seed phrase or recovery words.
• Your private keys or any signing material.
• Your wallet password or biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID data stays on your device and never leaves it).
• Your wallet balances or transaction history. Balances and history are read on-device from public blockchains and third-party indexers — they are not sent to us.
• The recipient addresses you send to.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Support communications: if you email us (e.g., at support@lcfx.com), we receive your email address and anything you choose to share in your message. Please never include your seed phrase or private keys in a support email.
• Wallet name: an optional name you assign to a wallet is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app information: basic details such as app version, operating system and version, device model, and locale may be collected if you submit a crash or diagnostic report, or to keep the App functioning.
• Crash and performance data: anonymous crash reports and limited usage diagnostics may be collected through app-store or third-party tooling to help us identify and fix bugs.
• Public blockchain data: the App queries public blockchains and third-party indexers to display balances, transaction history, and asset prices. These requests originate from your device and are governed by those services' policies.

Pricing data

The App fetches market prices from third-party pricing providers (such as Bitfinex). These requests are made from your device to display USD-equivalent values; we do not receive your request details.

How we use information

We use the limited information we have to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• Diagnose and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to profile you for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party services

The App relies on services operated by third parties. These have their own privacy practices:

• Blockchain networks and indexers — used to broadcast transactions and read balances and history.
• Pricing providers — used to display market values.
• Apple TestFlight and Google Play — used to distribute the App and may collect install and crash data under their own policies.
• The Spaces protocol backend — used for Bitcoin Spaces namespace discovery and registration. Requests may include the public data needed to perform those operations.

We do not share your personal information with these parties beyond what's necessary to operate the App, and we do not control their data practices.

Security

Your seed phrase and private keys are generated on your device and stored locally using the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android KeyStore). Biometric unlock is enforced by the operating system; biometric data never leaves the device.

Because the App is non-custodial, the security of your wallet depends largely on you: keep your seed phrase offline and private, keep your device's operating system and apps updated, and never share recovery information with anyone — including us.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Your choices

• Delete your wallet: you can remove a wallet from the App at any time via Settings. This deletes on-device data; it does not affect your funds on the blockchain, which remain accessible to anyone holding the seed phrase.
• Uninstall: uninstalling the App removes on-device wallet data. Make sure your seed phrase is backed up first.
• Support emails: you can request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing privacy@lcfx.com.
• Device permissions: you can manage biometric and camera permissions (used for QR scanning) in your device settings at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here or communicated through the App where appropriate. Continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
